Not your typical peshmerga fighter: The female Kurdish pop star with assault rifle rings who inspires troops with her songs about destroying ISIS
...her latest track for which she has received the most attention, and won the attentions of Kurdish fighters in the Middle East.
Entitled Revolution, it was filmed in an abandoned town near Mosul in Iraq, just a mile from where ISIS fighters were clashing with Kurdish forces.
In the song she talks about winning the war against the fundamentalist terrorists in order to bring peace to the Middle East....
...Most Millennials are fed up with the status quo on Capitol Hill, and Clinton reeks of entitlement and entrenchment. Republicans can do a whole lot better with the youth vote if they can figure out how to become the party of cool. These days, that means much more than grabbing a saxophone and honking out a few notes of an Elvis song on MTV — and this year’s crop of Republicans seems to get that.
Didn't take long for the Rubio camp to use the "Yesterday" shot by Clinton for their own video. https://t.co/k4tOvp05qw— Chuck Todd (@chucktodd) June 13, 2015
...If you recall, back in April, Clinton announced her candidacy for the first time. A day later, Rubio launched his campaign, stating, "Just yesterday, a leader from yesterday began a campaign for president by promising to take us back to yesterday. But yesterday is over, and we are never going back."
So now, in her do-over announcement, Clinton wanted to attack this vulnerability head on. She signaled that she intended to do so by portraying Republicans as supporting policies protecting the economic and social status of rich white heterosexual males in an increasingly diverse and inclusive society.
In the speech, Clinton revealed all of her vulnerabilities as a candidate. Despite decades of practice, she remains a weak public speaker. It was a long, meandering, and flat speech, topping 40 minutes — highlighting her painfully bad sense of humor. "You won't see my hair turn white in the White House — I've been coloring it for years," she joked....

Liberal academic and author Noam Chomsky on Thursday said President Obama is “an opportunist” and Hillary Clinton would follow his lead should she win the White House next year.
“I wrote about him before the primaries in 2008, simply using his webpage — the way he was presenting himself — and he seemed to me like an opportunist,” Chomsky said of Obama, according to WND News.

Remember the Carl DeMaio scandal last cycle? Totally fabricated, probably threw an election. http://t.co/kf69TtGDdn— daveweigel (@daveweigel) June 13, 2015
When former Carl DeMaio aide Todd Bosnich sat down with the FBI last June, he did so as a potential victim, accusing the congressional candidate of sending an email that threatened to end his political career if he continued to spread allegations of sexual misconduct against DeMaio.
On Friday, Bosnich, 29, appeared in San Diego federal court as a perpetrator, admitting he fabricated the email and then lied about it to investigators in an act of revenge against his former boss. He pleaded guilty to one count of obstruction of justice.
Bosnich’s instigation of a federal investigation using faked evidence “had the potential to affect a national election,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Phillip Halpern said in San Diego federal court.
DeMaio goes so far as to say it did. He ended up losing the 52nd Congressional District to incumbent Rep. Scott Peters, D-San Diego.

FLASHBACK: ABC's '08 Prediction: NYC Under Water From 'Climate Change' By June 2015! http://t.co/pLe3y1kwiJ— DRUDGE REPORT (@DRUDGE_REPORT) June 13, 2015
Constitutional conservatives don’t like it. Trade unions abhor it. Obama critics hate it. Environmentalists despise it.
Outside the Beltway bubble, a broad coalition of voters from the left, right and center opposes the mega-trade deal getting rammed through Congress this week by the Republican establishment on behalf of the White House. Here’s why.
The Obama administration, House GOP leader John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have sold out American sovereignty. Their so-called Trans-Pacific Partnership Commission will have sweeping authority over trade, immigration, environmental, labor and commerce regulations.
As alert watchdogs U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest and U.S. Rep Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., warn: “By adopting fast-track, Congress would be formally authorizing the President to finalize the creation of this Pacific Union and will have surrendered its legislative prerogatives. Before a word, line, paragraph, or page of this plan is made public, Congress will have agreed to give up its treaty powers. … In effect, one of the most sweeping international agreements seen in years will be given less legislative scrutiny and process than a Post Office reform bill.”
The Obama administration, House GOP leader John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have sold out legislative transparency. ...

It appears the Dallas area might actually have an investigative journalist willing to expose the sexploitation of minors. That’s really the bigger picture behind the McKinney “Craig Ranch” pool fiasco.
...Tatyana Rhodes, age 20, is using her promotional party business to include several young ladies as “Dime Piece Models”. Notice the ages as listed on the previous event promotional material:
“Ages 19 and Under” – which is entirely accurate considering it appears Dajerria Becton aged 15, the young lady who was in the video wrestling with the police officer, is considered one of Tatyana’s “model dime girls”.In addition, some of the other party members: Jahda Bakari (13), and Grace Stone (14) were part of the same promotional party group.
Combined these young ladies were promoting, and selling tickets for, Tatyana’s next event “#Make It Clap Pt.2″ as noted in her promotional flyer.
Disturbingly “Make It Clap” references two exceptionally sexual and suggestive urban connotations: One urban definition is “twerking” a sexually suggestive dance where butt cheeks create the auditory reference. The second is a sexual position where the male activity provides the sound. “Make It Clap” where “it” is a young ladies posterior.
Teens: Jahda (13), Grace (14) and Dajerria (15) along with promoter Tatyana (20) being the “Dime Piece Cookout” reference for the June 19th “Dime Piece Girls” event.
...Sexual exploitation is the real story being concealed. The fact that Tatyana’s mother, LaShana Burks, is also involved adds a particular unease to the exploitative mix.
LaShana Burks obviously has no issue with her 20-year-old daughter organizing parties where 13, 14, 15 year old girls intermix with teenage and much older gladiator males, during her “make it clap” parties. The same type of young adult males who were present at the “Dime Piece Cookout”, turned pool party fiasco, last Friday.... ◼ KEEP READING at Conservative Treehouse

Starting this year, eligible medical professionals will see their Medicare payments cut if they aren't using records.
But doctors haven't been implementing the program because it is so complex, and now they worry about losing Medicare payments, said Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., during a hearing Wednesday.
"This year, 257,000 physicians have already begun losing 1 percent of their Medicare reimbursements and 200 hospitals may be losing even more than that," said Alexander, chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
Meaningful use is adopted in stages, and currently doctors and hospitals are in stage two.
The stage's requirements, which include allowing patients to view and download records, are too complex to meet, Alexander said. Stage three, set to begin in 2018, is even more complex.

Fox News Channel's plan to limit the first Republican primary debate to just 10-12 of the expected 18 candidates is under attack by several New Hampshire officials who claim it is unfair to the candidates cut out and voters.
In a letter to Fox boss Roger Ailes and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, the officials proposed that Fox change the Aug. 6 debate format to include all candidates, or something closer to what CNN is planning in September.
"It is understandable that a large field presents logistical and broadcast challenges, and that Fox News is seeking to provide a forum in which candidates can be provided enough time to substantively communicate on the issues. However, the proposed limitations are unnecessarily narrow and risk eliminating potentially viable candidates based on unreliable national polling that is rarely predictive of primary election outcomes," said the letter.
State Department Spokesman Repeatedly Refuses to Say Whether Iran Nuclear Deal Communications Have Been Compromised
The Wall Street Journal reported the Russian Kapersky Lab, after checking millions of computers in thousands of hotels around the world, found a virus that infected computers in three hotels. The three with viruses were the luxury hotels in Geneva that hosted the Iran nuclear negotiations.
Upon examination, the firm concluded that the spyware was a newer version of Doqu, a virus cybersecurity experts say Israel used for their most important missions.
“Are you confident that there was no compromise? There was no breach?” AP reporter Matt Lee asked State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke about the report.
“We take steps to ensure that information remains behind closed doors,” Rathke said vaguely.
“You can take steps to ensure that don’t work,” Lee said, pressing Rathke not to deflect his direct questions.
Rathke repeatedly dodged the question, explaining that the State Department went to great lengths to ensure the security of communications between the negotiators, but declined to address any details within Kapersky’s allegations.
“I’m not commenting on the specifics of that report,” Rathke said.

These days, only half of Americans “trust” that Supreme Court will do the right thing on health care, according to a new CNN/ORC poll. The question is, trust them to do what? To do their jobs and weigh the legality of the law, or to work backwards from the notion that nothing is more critical to the American experience than protecting this contentious, unpopular piece of legislation? We already know what the president thinks. But we still don’t know what Americans believe.
Top 9 Myths About The Trans-Pacific Partnership: http://t.co/Om94FMXx9u— The Federalist (@FDRLST) June 9, 2015
The current debate over Trade Promotion Authority proves, once again, that the classic description of the anti-globalization movement—as “largely the well-intentioned but ill-informed being led around by the ill-intentioned and well informed”—still holds true. Despite the tireless efforts of trade policy experts to explain why TPA and the U.S. trade agreements it’s intended to facilitate are, while imperfect, not a secret corporatist plot to usurp the U.S. Constitution and install global government, myths and half-truths continue to infect traditional and social media outlets.
Because these myths—originating with the same old anti-trade bedfellows that have been with us for decades—have duped a lot of good folks who are otherwise predisposed to support liberty and free markets (including some in Congress), and because the House of Representatives is poised to vote on TPA in the coming days, here is one last debunking of the top nine myths about TPA, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and U.S. free-trade agreements (FTAs) more broadly.
◼ Myth 1: TPA and U.S. FTAs are unconstitutional and undemocratic!
◼ Myth 2: TPA grants the president new and unlimited powers!
◼ Myth 3: TPA sets legally binding congressional rules for U.S. trade negotiations!
◼ Myth 4: Once TPA is approved, Congress will be powerless to stop TPP or other FTAs!
◼ Myth 5: TPP is being negotiated via a dangerous and unprecedented level of secrecy!
◼ Myth 6: FTAs, completed via TPA, undermine U.S. sovereignty!
◼ Myth 7: TPP is a secret backdoor for a parade of horribles (and TPA lets that happen)!
◼ Myth 8: FTAs (and free trade generally) benefit large corporations at the expense of working people!
◼ Myth 9: TPA doesn’t matter!
Mass delusion is an important tool of oppressors because they can’t survive free expression. That’s why the First Amendment’s a target.
Why propaganda is driving us leftward. http://t.co/KxQDfAhoTk— The Federalist (@FDRLST) June 9, 2015
American conservatives are by and large clueless about propaganda methods and tactics. And it shows. There are virtually no conservative social psychologists around. You’d think once a liberal social psychologist hits the public over the head with this fact some on the Right would take notice and at least try to get clued in.
Meanwhile, the Left has been employing social psychology and depth psychology on the masses for decades. President Obama’s campaign staff was filled with social psychologists. In this context, those who believe conservatives can subsist on reason and logic alone are kidding themselves. It’s no wonder GOP leaders are caving on so many principles, and being absorbed so easily into the Left’s machine.

Apple’s Tim Cook Blasts Silicon Valley Firms for Selling Off Privacy http://t.co/TZwh1fge3A— Michelle Ray (@GaltsGirl) June 8, 2015
Apple CEO Tim Cook has made some of his strongest comments to date on digital privacy and security.
Speaking remotely on Monday night as he accepted the Washington, D.C.-based Electronic Privacy Information Center’s (EPIC) Freedom Award, Cook criticized other Silicon Valley companies that mine users’ data to target advertising and make money. The comments seemed to be directed at tech giants like Facebook and Google, which are known for monetizing user data....
Cook then discussed encryption and how all levels of law enforcement are trying to get tech companies to provide the “master key” into their products and give them access to consumers’ data.
“We think this is incredibly dangerous,” he said. “If you put a key under the mat for the cops, a burglar can find it too. Criminals are using every technology tool at their disposal to hack into people’s accounts. If they know there’s a key hidden somewhere, they won’t stop until they find it.”
Cook added, “We’ve been offering encryption tools in our products for years, and we’re going to stay on that path. We think it’s a critical feature for our customers who want to keep their data secure.”
