But who prays for Baghdad?

"It is either you support the Republican nominee, or you support Hillary."

...I am sticking to the facts.

The fact is, all last summer you warned me that Trump was using the Republican Party. You made him sign a pledge to stay in the party. He signed.

The fact is, he emerged the winner in a field of 17 candidates.

The fact is, you want to renege on the pledge.

The fact is, he is drawing Democrats to the party in numbers not seen since Reagan ran in 1980.

The fact is, he has 7,811,245 votes, and his nearest rival has 5,732,220.

The fact is, he has 739 delegates, and his nearest rival has 465.

The fact is, he has a 67 percent or better chance of getting a majority of the delegates.

The fact is, he is self-funded, which is a problem for what Phyllis Schlafly calls the Donor Class.

The fact is, he is a conservative. Pro-gun? He and his sons acquired rare New York weapons permit for years. Pro-life? A little late to the game, but we need converts. Balanced budget? He is under his own budget by $50 million. Strong on the military. Strong on law enforcement.. Strong on immigration control.

And that latter is what this really is all about: Immigration control. The moneyed interests do not want it. And that includes Fox News owner Sir Rupert Murdoch, and likely those donors who keep the National Review alive. In 60 years, the magazine never made money. Never. I find it odd that a conservative publication does not participate in capitalism.

I also am coming to grips with the reality that foundation conservatives -- those who work for "non-profits" -- are just as out-of-touch as those working for the liberal foundations. Each is conducting utopia in a test tube. We suffer as the guinea pigs for their airy theories. No, free trade has not benefited most of America. DC and NYC maybe, but not Flyover America.... The average monthly salary in Cuba was 584 pesos, or about $24, in 2014, a significant increase in the average monthly salary over the previous year, which was 471 pesos ($20).

When the president and his family landed in Cuba Sunday, the first lady descended Air Force One wearing a sleeveless, rose-print dress made by designer Carolina Herrera. The dress is currently sold for $2,190 at Bergdorf Goodman, an upscale department store.

Later, on Monday evening, Obama dressed in a floral, knee-length dress from designer Naeem Khan to attend the state dinner at the Palace of the Revolution in Havana, Cuba. A similar frock from Naeem Khan, a Barack Obama donor, available in the designer’s pre-fall 2016 collection costs $4,490.

In a statement released through one of its propaganda outlets, the so-called Islamic State said "explosive belts and devices" were used to massacre passengers checking in at Brussels Airport and on a Metro train.
"Islamic State fighters opened fire inside Zaventem Airport, before several of them detonated their explosive belts, as a martyrdom bomber detonated his explosive belt in the Maalbeek Metro station," a spokesperson said.

Why it’s time for a Trump revolution

...It’s been a long road to get here. When Trump’s name first popped up, I joked about moving to Canada. When he launched his campaign, I cursed him, certain he was going to create a circus just when Republicans finally had a strong field of candidates.

I was intrigued by many of them, starting with Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, John Kasich, Scott Walker and Jeb Bush. Others I admired while believing they wouldn’t get far — Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal, Ben Carson, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki and Carly Fiorina.

I like those Republicans even though I’m a registered Democrat, just not that kind of Democrat. I voted for President Obama in 2008, believing he meant it when he said no red states, no blue states, only the United States. The barrier he broke added to his appeal.

Six months later, I was off the bus. It was already clear Obama had no intention of building a consensus on anything, although few realized he would be such a radical and partisan polarizer. He may love America, but doesn’t seem to like actual Americans. Other than himself, of course.

With the world on fire thanks to his abdication of global leadership, and with the home front nervous and angry, the 2016 race couldn’t come soon enough. I hoped a Democrat would emerge who realized that Obama had set us on a course that was dangerous and unsustainable, with our national debt exceeding $18 trillion.

Clearly, neither Bernie Sanders nor Hillary Clinton is that Dem, though I’ll vote for Sanders in the New York primary just to send her a message.

Following Obama, Clinton’s election would be a calamity. She would be beholden to him, and unable to shift much from his disastrous policies. And who knows what she really believes?...

Neo-Conservative Hypocrisy Reaches New Lows–More Media Lies

...I can fully understand why some people do not like nor can support Donald Trump. But the concerted attack on Trump that includes Republican leaders, the Democrats and the media is demonstrating how rigged this election system is and depths that the various establishments will plumb in order to preserve their current advantages.

Their attacks are so crazy and so extreme that I am watching slack-jawed to say absurd nonsense with a straight face. For example, Rich Lowery of National Review was on Stephanopolous this morning and condemned Donald Trump for “threatening riots if he did not get the nomination” and for vowing to pay the legal expenses of “A GOON WHO ATTACKED A PROTESTOR.”

Both are lies. Clever and despicable lies. As I have written previously, Trump did not threaten riots. He made the sane observation that if Republicans do what they are doing now by conspiring to deny him the nomination that his supporters would rightly and correctly feel cheated. Under those circumstances it is highly likely that Trump supporters would erupt in outrage if the Republican establishment tried to push through a nominee who had not won a majority of the primaries.

Since when did a 78 year old man become a “goon?...”

Making his point:

Sunday, March 20, 2016

One woman can be heard saying that this was “attempted murder.” The behavior of these protesters is a classic example of what’s been coined the “crybully phenomenon” — those who show up to cause trouble, then play the victim when when trouble arises.

“Just 11 percent said they were less likely to support Trump because of this decision (to shut down the rally). Another 22 percent said they were actually more likely to back Trump, and 66 percent said their views were unchanged. ”
